She worked at "The Show Channel" on BNT, 2015
"I dreamed about music, dream of new horizons .."
With the support of thousands of fans one of her biggest dreams came true -
in 2016 Vasya became a student at the Berklee College Of Music, Boston, MA

  BULGARIAN FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLE
“LUDO MLADO”, www.ludomlado.com

Ludo Mlado is a Boston based Bulgarian folk dance ensemble, founded in 2002 . Choreographers of the group are Pepi Petrov, a former professional dancer from the Bulgarian State Ensemble “Rodopa” and Marieta Mircheva, a graduate from the National School of Dance Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. By training dancers and showcasing performances, the ensemble endeavors to preserve and spread awareness of the rich dance traditions of Bulgaria. After 15 years of existence, Ludo Mlado boasts over 20 members and performs a vast repertoire of dance suites complete with authentic Bulgarian costumes. Ludo Mlado performs throughout the year at various community-based events, weddings and wherever Bulgarian music and dance can bring unique sensations to the event.
  BELYANA HRISTOVA (vocal, piano)

Belyana Hristova also knows as Bella, is a singer-songwriter, producer, piano player and performer currently based in Boston. Originally, she is from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Bella graduate from Berklee College of Music with a bachelor degree in Contemporary writing and production. While attending the College, she was part of the Pletenitsa Balkan choir as the only member from Bulgaria. She has been a participant in several vocals contests, 3 music recitals of her own and many others in the school. She gained great experience as an entertainer singing and playing the piano and the drums at Howl at the Moon piano bar in Boston. Collaborating with good people and musicians and writing and producing new original music is her biggest passion
  ACE VAPTSAROV (guitar)

Ace is an eight semester student specializing in film and television scoring and jazz guitar in Berklee College of Music. He plays the guitar for 10 years and during 2016 successfully leads and performs a project with an original and unique sound with a student orchestra in Boston on December 2nd, and a professional orchestra in the Rousse State House Opera on December 29th. He has written music for a number of well received student short films, and currently prepares his next upcoming project, which once again brings together the guitar and the orchestra and is based on his original film compositions. Aside from his personal projects Ace is the guitarist of the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra with an upcoming performance in Boston Symphony Hall playing the music from the movie “Lord of the Rings” led by composer Howard Shore.
  ALEX STOYANOV (flute)

Alex Stoyanov gradueted the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied with the world famous jazz flutist Simeon Shterev. In 2004 he recived a "World Tour" scholarship for entering Berklee College of Music. At Berklee he studied flute with the dean of Performance Division Matt Marvuglio, Fernando Brandao, Wendy Rolfe. He also studied with Hal Crook and David Santoro. Over the years he participated in many musical events. In 2006 he received the highly prestigious "Kenney Endowed scholarship" which is given to only one student every year. Alex graduated from Berklee in May 2008 with a degree in Music Performance. Vesselin is born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
He begins his musical education at the age of 5. He plays piano, double bass, and percussion.
He studied at the music school in Plovdiv “Dobrin Petkov”. He won a full scholarship for a talent in the second best school for music and art in Los Angeles , CA “Idyllwild Arts Academy”.
Hå graduates “The Longy School of Music” in Cambridge, MA. From a very young age he plays with some of some of the best musicians in Bulgaria, USA and Europe. He has played with Theodosii Spasov, Georgy Yanev, Youri Yanakov, Janka Roupkina, Shaban Shaulich, Stoyan Royanov “YaYa”, Georgi Donchev, George Garzon and Mashal Howkins “Who has a album with Miles Davis”, John Kaizan Neptune, Balkan Beat Box... He is the founder of “Trio Balkanski Motivi” and he has performed all across Bulgaria, US and Europe
  "ZDRAVETS" Folk Ensemble

"ZDRAVETS" is a Boston-based ensemble which has been performing traditional music from Bulgaria and Macedonia since 1989.
Bulgarian music is characterized by highly resonant, close harmonies and energetic asymmetric rhythms. The vocal styles are free, full, and thrilling, while the instrumental music makes your feet itch to dance. ZDRAVETS brings you the whole gamut – instrumental music, unaccompanied voices, and the full ensemble combining instruments with voices.
 ZDRAVETS’s unaccompanied songs are primarily from field recordings, many of which were made by group member Martha Forsyth, who has done extensive folklore research in Bulgaria since 1978. 
  CHILDREN FOLK DANCE GROUP "7/8"

The children's dance group “7/8” is newly found by Marieta Mircheva. It's mission is to teach our children the rich Bulgarian folk-dance traditions, help them develop a sense of rhythm, meet new friends, and have many unforgettable moments!
Marieta Mircheva is a Bulgarian native who has been dancing and performing since the age of 8. By the age of 13, she had over one hundred performances and several European dance tours as a member of Folk Dance Ensemble “Zdravets”. In 1998, Marieta graduated from the National School of Dance Art in Sofia, Bulgaria with a major in Bulgarian Folk Dances. In 2001, Marieta founded the first Bulgarian performing dance group in Boston “The Roses”. Since 2004, Marieta has been a co-choreographer and performer for the Bulgarian folk dance ensemble “Ludo Mlado “
  SNEJINA PENCHEVA (vocals and keyboards)

loves to sing and has been singing professionally for 30 years, in all different kinds of music genres from pop, rock to Bulgarian and International folk. She graduated music high school. She started to learn singing and classical guitar at the age of six. She graduated the University in Shumen (Bulgaria) with the “Music Pedagogy” major. With her rich repertoire and beautiful voice she performed in many international cultural events in Germany, Holland, France, Poland, Chech Repubilc, Hungary, Russia, Turkey and now in the USA.
  Bulgarian-American Cultural Center Madara is an organization created solely for the purpose of popularizing Bulgarian culture in the USA . Its mission is to establish intersociety dialogue by means of culture, arts, education, economy and to organize intercultural programs and events to bring people from different walks of life together. It serves the sizeable Bulgarian community in the Boston, MA and New York, NY areas.  With the help of many volunteers, the center produced and supported several cultural events, such as concerts and performances by established Bulgarian artists, performers and actors; Annual Bulgarian Cultural Festival; lectures; music classes and more.
